About the Presentation

The delivery of IT Services to our customers has never been in greater focus. HMRC has ensured that not only the systems & processes are fit for purpose but the staff are delivering them. Having a comprehensive programme aligned to adopting ITIL V3 provides the ability to use optimal processes. Our implementation of SFIA demonstrates a clear link to optimising our people

This presentation will look at how the effective use of SFIA is being used to deliver this. It will outline the best and most challenging aspects of implementing the framework as well as how it was used to benchmark against the industry to expose where best practice could and should be adopted

About the Speaker

Paul has 25 years industry experience in both Government and Private sectors and has full experience of the project lifecycle. He is currently engaged in Service Management for HMRC where he is the IT Professional Skills lead for Service Management. Paul has delivered significant change for a number of organisations which include ICL, Amdahl Gas, The National Grid, London Electricity, South West Regional Health Authority & Kings College Hospital. He is now managing the Capability Programme for HMRC who are undergoing significant organisational change.
