About the Presentation	Transitioning new or changed services smoothly while managing the risks is challenging. This interactive session explores the stakeholders and their issues in the Service Transition of projects into service. Delegates will be split into groups that represent each stakeholder. After exploiting and sharing the issues, the ITIL Service Transition practices will be presented and then the stakeholder groups will discuss "What should / could we do better?" Session objective is to help participants: • Understand the stakeholders and their different perspectives during transition • Find out how you can make a difference during service transition for yourself and other stakeholders
About the Speaker	Shirley specialises in the application of service management and change management best practices to deliver value from IT investments. Shirley is a co-author of the OGC's ITIL Service Transition book with Ivor Macfarlane. Since the launch of ITIL V3 Shirley has specialised in helping organisations adopt the ITIL service lifecycle and improve the speed of implementing Projects into Service.
